WaBetaInfo has released new information about the future new features to be added to the WhatsApp beta,
both for the iOS versions - to which the possibility of being a betatester has just arrived - and for those corresponding to our operating system.
The ability to quickly add contacts along with QR code registration for them is on the way..
Two ways to add contacts that WhatsApp estimates to be faster, and that should not take too long to arrive in beta.
Two new possibilities
First, the information tells us about adding contacts in a fast way.
It would be as simple as accessing the option of add a contact to WhatsAppThis action would invoke a menu in which we would have to enter the number of our contact.
Currently it is necessary that the contact is in our phone list to refresh it in the general list of WhatsApp, this new method would allow us to save this step and look for it directly as a WhatsApp contact.
On the other hand, adding contacts via BIDI code would also be on the way.
It would be the second method of increasing our list of friends, and in a very similar way to how we register in WhatsApp Web via BIDI code, we could register any contact by scanning their code.
By using this option we would also see our sharing code, so that anyone can add us.
As always, new features will be coming first to iOS and then to AndroidSo we will have to wait a few weeks until this feature arrives in beta form to our devices.
Regardless of the waiting time, good news is everything related to Quickly add contacts to WhatsApp,
so we expect this feature to arrive soon to our operating system.
