wifislax final Hacking wifi networks guaranteed

Wifislax final Hacking wifi networks

After 7 months, a new version of wifislax64 is released, version 1.1.
It still uses slackware64-14.2 + security updates as a base, so stability is guaranteed.

There are no major new features as such, performance improvements, some new applications and fixes for reported bugs.

The application menu system has been worked on, so that if a security update of the ?kdelibs? package arrives, it will not break, as it did in version 1.0 recently. package, the menu will not break, as it has happened in version 1.0 recently.

Now wifislax in live mode, is able to see if the system where it is being used has any swap partition, if it is the case, it would automatically take it into account, and in case of running out of ram memory, it would make use of that swap partition, you can disable this function if we want, passing in the boot line the parameter "noswap", that way even if there are swap partitions, they would be ignored. In this way, even if there are swap partitions, they will be ignored.

We have continued compiling applications that were previously in wifislax (32 bits version), you could say that none is missing, there are the usual ones, plus the new ones that have been added during the move to 64 bits.

We are running kernel 4.9.40 from the 4.9 LTS branch.

This version (1.1), includes hashcat 3.6.0 + hashcat-utils, although for its use we must include (as always), the ?proprietary? driver of our NVDIA or AMD graphics card, in the case of AMD, the driver is the catalyst 15.12 which has support only up to the radeon 300 and fury series, NOT SUPPORT THE 400 SERIES OR THE 500 SERIES, since AMD, decided to create for linux the ?amdgpu-pro? driver, the issue of installing it has been very complicated since AMD, decided to create for linux the ?amdgpu-pro? driver. the issue of installing it has become very complicated since they only support the 3 or 4 biggest linux (debian / ubuntu) with "packaged" drivers, instead of an "installable" one. instead of an ?installable? this makes that you can only install the driver in the linux they say, but also, it must be the version they say too ? I think this is a huge mistake, and at some point I will stop giving support, because all this leads me to have the xorg graphic system, in version 1.17, instead of 1.18 or 1.19, because this driver does not support beyond 1.17.

So in short, we have a revision, with some new apps, security patches and improvements in usability and performance.

As always, don't forget that the system can be easily extended, either by downloading "modules" already created by a user, or by using "slackbuilds.org".
