Solution: WINDOWS 11 system requirements are not met.

Microsoft released its new version of the desktop operating system officially in October 2021 which has more than proven to deliver performance improvements beyond the visual enhancements, rounded corners, animated transitions and more refined transparency effects that have become apparent in this new version.

Of course, it includes a new design in Windows 11 where the most striking is to see the taskbar positioned in the center of the screen. As a general rule, these icons used to be placed on the left side, but now they will be closer to the center to make them more accessible to users on large monitors.

Windows 11 is indeed faster according to Micosoft sourceS when waking from sleep mode, when signing in with Windows Hello, when using Edge or any other browser and that background updates will be a 40% smaller. For gaming, more specifically, Microsoft announced a new feature called Direct Storage that will allows games to upload assets directly to the graphics card. This, in theory, will allow for shorter load times when rendering graphics.

To summarize, these are some of the new features included in this new version:

  •  Auto HDR in games yXbox technology to enhance gaming :this function improved illumination and color of the gameseven those that don't have this native feature. It's the same kind of enhancement we're seeing on Xbox X Series X/S, so it will be the same on PC with this OS. Microsoft has already confirmed that there will be automatic HDR in more than 1,000 games, including titles such as Age of Empires Definitive Edition, Rocket League, Day Z and Doom 64. It also incorporates certain features from Xbox consoles, such as Auto HDR and DirectStorage, to enhance games on Windows PC. This is a further step towards Microsoft's integration of PC and Xbox.
  • Android apps come to Microsoft Store:One of the biggest surprises in Windows 11 is that will be able to run Android applications. In principle they can be found in the Microsoft Store and you can launch them from the task menu or the start menu, as if they were any other program in the system.it has also been confirmed that Microsoft Store will incorporate several streaming services from numerous companies such as Disney+, and Windows 11 will allow projecting multimedia content to a 4K TV without cable connections.
  • Snap Layouts is a new feature of WindoWs that allows you to organize windows much more efficiently than the existing options so far. We can organize three windows, one next to the other, with one larger than the other two, for example. In the taskbar, Windows 11 will also remember the applications that we have open through an icon.
  • Windows Widgets: Widgets are back as one of the main new features of Windows 11, in what Microsoft has called a powerful personalization of the A.I. This pack includes the usual widgets we are used to, with functions such as the weather or the map. However, the company has been paying special attention to the newsdesigned to facilitate the interests of users on an international or local level. All widgets will be placed in an aligned space on the left that we will be able to open.
  • New Tablet mode: with improved support for touch screen, voice and pen support.z: For tablets, Microsoft wanted to improve the touch experience, with more space between icons in the taskbar and adding gestures. Windows 11 also adds support for the haptic stylus, so you can hear and feel the vibrations when you use it to take notes or draw.
  • Redesign of Notepad and Windows Player:One of the things that will also come to the Windows operating system is the integration of new updates in already known apps. Mainly, Notepad and the player will receive this new feature with an improved design. You will just have to wait for these applications to be updated and then enjoy their new redesign.
  • Better virtual desktop support: Windows 11 will allow to configure virtual desktops in a more intuitive way, being able to switch between several desktops at the same time for personal, work, school or game use. In Windows 10, this was more difficult to configure and use.
  • Easier transition from monitor to laptop: The new operating system allows you to connect and disconnect a monitor more easily, without losing the location of the open windows as it happens now.
  • Microsoft Teams added to the taskbar: Teams gets a facelift and will be integrated directly into the Windows 11 taskbar, making it easier to access. This is really only of interest to you if you use this tool at work.
  • Linux on Windows 11, or in other words, the version of the Linux Subsystem for Windows that Microsoft has developed for its new operating system, has been greatly improved in ease of use and graphic and sound support.

It is clear that the advantages are remarkable, but for a standard installation Windows 11 needs a 64-bit processor and TPM version 2.0 to work. The processor part may seem reasonable, but many users do not have a secure platform module or a TPM 2.0 hardware chip in their device. This is the only reason why users seek to install Windows 11 on an unsupported PC that we can bypass according to the documentation itself.

Although it is feasible to install W11 on unsupported machines, Microsoft has added a new desktop watermark for unsupported PCs, which can be annoying, so in this post we will try to remove it as this is only an aesthetic issue and will not affect the performance or functionality of the operating system.

The watermark may not be immediately visible if you are using Windows 11 on an incompatible device, as it is implemented slowly on incompatible devices by appearing exactly where the ?Windows is not on? watermark used to be above the taskbar clock. The watermark will appear on the desktop screen, but will not affect applications, windows or web browsers.

The desktop watermark will indicate unfulfilled System Requirements ?in small-sized text, which can irritate many users. Therefore, if the watermark appears on your desktop screen and bothers you, you are on the right page.

Steps to remove the watermark "System requirements not met" in Windows 11

Next, let's see how to remove watermark that does not comply with system requirements in the Windows 11 operating system, it is a simple task because we only have to change one value in the w11 registry.

These are the steps to follow:

1. First, press the Windows key + R on your keyboard. This will open the RUN dialog box.

2. In the EXECUTE dialog box, enter regedit and press the Enter button.

3. Now, in the Registry Editor, navigate to the following path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel UnsupportedHardwareNotificationCache

4. Now, in the right pane, double-click the SV2 REG_DWORD to open it (if the value SV1 2 is not present, it can also be registered as SV1, which will have exactly the same function).

5. In the Value Information field, enter 0 and click on the Accept.

That's it! You are done. After making the changes, restart your Windows 11 operating system. After the restart, you will not see that the system requirement did not meet the watermark on the desktop screen.
