Galaxy S20 is the name of one of Samsung's next flagship products.
Galaxy S20 is the name of one of Samsung's upcoming flagships.
Rumors advanced it a few weeks ago, but now it seems to be confirmed: Samsung's family of flagship smartphones will jump from 11 to 20 and one of its members will be the Galaxy S20+ 5G, according to the latest leak.
The "confirmation" of the number change came recently, but in the form of a report. However, what is now revealed are photographs of the device in its startup sequence and shows the official name it would have, Galaxy S20+ 5G. In addition, this would also confirm the arrival of the device with connectivity to next-generation networks.
Along with the picture confirming the name; we have a second one confirming the front design with hole centered at the top for the front camera. And very small top and bottom bezels. However, the most interesting comes with the third picture that shows the rear
According to rumors, Samsung's next generation flagship will consist of three models, but in this case the Galaxy S20+ will be the "sandwich sibling", i.e. the middle one, with the Galaxy S20 Ultra being the largest of the Galaxy S20 family.. The latter model is said to be the only one in the family with a 108-megapixel main sensor, but all three smartphones would have 120 Hz screens and would be powered by the Snapdragon 865 in most parts of the world, including Mexico. Finally, the Galaxy S20s would have 4G and 5G variants, as in this case.
The Unpacked 2020 has been confirmed to take place on February 11 and at this event the official unveiling of the Galaxy S20 family is expected, as well as the debut of Samsung's second foldable smartphone, possibly called Galaxy Bloom. This event is a month away, although seeing the current pace of leaks, perhaps we will have the wait even shorter.
